Canyon Star Specials
We're getting close to finalizing our CS 3911 order. We are specialing in the 360 camera system and Sanicon. Pretty confident on the cameras but less on the Sanicon. Might have to add that later.
Seems like an exterior color change is a special for 2019 on the CS. It's not on the build sheet. We are choosing colors loosely based on the V Lagoon color.
Are there any other specials that would be allowed on the CS that are useful?
Don't want to miss out on something we're not thinking of.

Most of these are on our order. We will be adding a combo washer/dryer after delivery. I know they aren't the best but it will just be for the occasional wash of items that can't wait till we return home from a trip. Plus it gives us a little more storage room.
What about technology outlets? Does the CS have enough USB outlets? Can't get in one to see. Not many of these models on the dealer's lots.

We contemplated a few specials when we placed our order (#3513) last January.
We ended up only going with one special, an accent fabric change on the dinette chairs, valences, and pillows. We didn't care for the stock fabric print.
A couple other specials we considered included a higher capacity water pump and having a 12v line run to the wet bay to possibly power a small heater if needed during storage in freezing weather.
A special we wish we would have done was having a 120v receptacle installed in the rear-wall wardrobe cabinet. It would have given us the opportunity to store our vacuum cleaner there rather than under the bed. Not a big deal but one we would have liked.

We had two specials on our Canyon Star: Provision for an external satellite dish (jack in rear power compartment), and dinette chair material to match the sofa/front seats. One we added afterwards but think it could be done as a factory special was to power the bed outlets from the TV inverter for dry camping. If you do a significant amount of dry camping then it may be cheaper to spec a whole house inverter/charger than to retro fit one.

We do not have the same CS as you are ordering, but some of the things we added to ours:
GE Advantium convection microwave. The standard Frigidaires were giving people fits the year ours was built.
Wallboard change in the bath area—it was dark ugly shingles in 2014 and we went with a neutral throughout.
Changed all the knobs on the cabinets to be pulls—it’s a lot easier to get a grasp on a pull than a dinky knob, plus we felt it dressed up the interior.
Fiberglass roof-this may be standard now,but we had great luck with the fiberglass roof on our ‘97 MA and we were not about to try anything else.
Enjoy your new ‘19!

Definitely getting the fiberglass roof. Thinking about the GE upgrade but it seems to be pretty pricey.

One thing we ended up using the washer/dryer for is bathing suits and even drying our bathroom towels. Even if you don't do full laundry (we do) the dryer IMO is vital

Everyone has different needs, but in our case, we will never have a MH that doesn't have a washer/dryer. It's so much easier to just throw a load of clothes into the washer at the end of the day, rather than going to a laundry for a few hours with a pile of clothes.
