Carpet wet at front edge of extended FWS

After a heavy windy rain last week I noticed the carpet behind the driver's chair at the bottom edge of the extended FWS was wet.
After dark I put a light on the inside of the coach at this spot then went outside and looked up under the slide at the very front of it. There was a small gap between several rubber seals but now no ideal how to seal that.

Anyone else have a water leak at this point and if so how could it be sealed?

On all 3 of our Newmar's if you have water standing on top of the slide out you are going to get some water inside when you bring the slides in. What we found was by putting 303 on top of the slide covers stop the water from seeping through the cover which stops the water from getting on top of slide out. Before we found this tip we use to get some towels and dry slide top before bring the slides in. Just did this on our 18 LA and again very little or no water in the coach.

Absolutely, what Tom said. If wind drives rain under the topper & it doesn't drain it will end up on the floor INSIDE the coach when slide comes in. After a rain it's good to tilt coach toward front or rear to help water drain off when breaking camp.

The floor gets wet with the slide out, there should be a sealant bob of sealant on bottom edge molding of slide box blocking water from running on molding onto coach floor. Lift the slide seal and look behind it should see the sealant block interior of molding may never have been placed or fell off the molding of slide.
Can check other slides to look for same blockage.

Thanks 007, as you said the water gets on the carpet while the FWS is out all the time, both before, during and after the rain.
I'll definitely look per your advice. Problem may be what to gob up in that space that won't get pulled off as the room is retracted not knowing what Newmar would have used.
Thanks.
