Casa Grande?

We are planning a 3 month stay in AZ starting Feb 2015. We are looking at Leisure Valley RV Resort in Casa Grande. Has anyone stayed here? Comments? Thanks!

Casa Grande?

Have not been there but it is a small place with no reviews to find.
We did 3 months at Sundance1, and it was superb, fun, and safe.

In Casa Grande you pretty much get what you pay for. The city has great infrastructure for medical and shopping.

The Mesa/Phoenix desert gets too cold for me over the winter. Check the weather channel monthly temp averages for a city before you reserve.

Yuma is much better!

Toured the park last year was not that impressed. More options up in the Mesa area and east of Phoenix.

X2 for Sundance1. We stay there for a few days each year to visit relatives who live in town. Very nice facilities kept very clean, friendly people even with transients like us and lots of activities posted.

I do understand tho' that it can get windy and dusty but we've been lucky.

Thanks for your responses. I will look further. We are trying to stay close to Phoenix. We have family there, kids & grandchildren.

You asked about Casa Grande which is only about an hour drive from Phoenix.

We winter in CGrande and have made day trips to both Phoenix and Tucson being that CGrande is about half way in between.

Good luck in your search.

I would recommend you find a park in Mesa or Apache Junction for your 3 months. There is much more to do in the whole metro area. Casa Grande can also get blowing dust. It's flat farm land.

Or to the west or Phoenix just a few minutes a 're several good parks with many th I vs going on. Or NW of Casa Grande 30 minutes are two or three good RV parks.

We stayed at Casa Grande RV Park for just one day, it seemed very nice. IF your plans are to stay for a while in that area, might be worth staying at several of them in the area for a day or two just to check them all out before you commit to anything longer.

I spent the winter at the Casa Grande RV Park 2 years ago. Lots of activities (if that's your thing and a great fenced in area for the dogs. I found the people that worked there great and they have propane truck come by a couple of times a week.

To much dust blowing in Casa Grande. The Voyager RV Resort in Tucson. Lots to do and see inside and outside the park. The Gem shows for one thing. Very big in Tucson

My SIL had a place at Palm Creek in Casa Grande......Very nice, golf course, lots of activities...but quite expensive. When I was there, Feb-Mar, it was that windy that I noticed

You can get dust storms anywhere in AZ. They have had some real classics in the Phoenix valley.
Hey, it's the desert. 😉
Saw a complaint about Sundance1 that there were "too many people on bicycles".
