I have an 03 model Newmar. I have noticed some of the caulking beads separating from the base fiberglass or metal curved roof edge when I do my caulking inspection. So far, I have fixed them but I think I will take on a recaulking project soon. Some of the problems are in areas where the Siklaflex caulk comes in contact with decals. Have any of you removed the old caulk and replaced it with new? It looks like it may be so attached to the decal it might pull or tear it. Any directions or tips on a complete recaulking job would sure be appreciated. How about the aluminum strips with all the screws on top? And if you have not looked at yours you might want to. Ours is used quite a bit but also garaged when at home and I do see some separation cracks in some areas. Thank you. Phil
