Ceiling air vents

We have a 2014 Baystar with air conditioner vents all over the ceiling. That's not a problem as some are vents and others the air return. The problem is that although you can twist the vent to direct the air flow you can't shut the vent off so you can get blasted with cold air. I'd like to replace the vent covers with ones that can not only be rotated but closed off if desired. Are there such vents out there that I can replace mine with?

Thank you.

On our Essex it was always hotter in the back of the coach so we blocked off 2 of the 4 vent. Cut a tin piece of rubber that was the same size as the filters and put them in the discharge vents which then cooled the front of the coach better. Same situation on our 18 LA but haven't worked on that yet. Have not seen or know of the adjustable vents you are looking for that would be the correct size.

Hi - Search around, for instance try https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-A10-...47092861&psc=1 I don't know what size the holes are in your coach but this will get you started.

Also if you just want to shut off one or more vents try putting an old cd/dvd in the hole.

I had the same problem in our back bathroom with 2 vents. I used a low tech method, take the cover off and put a circle of aluminum foil on and the stick it back up. Easy, quick and it works.

If you restrict airflow to much you could develop a freeze problem so be careful.

Thanks for the suggestions. I never would have thought of some of them. I think I’ll go with the replacement option as I was thinking that if the temperature is 85 I might want to restrict the air flow but not if it’s 110 so permanently blocking the vents may not be a good idea. Again thanks.
