Center Bath Fan Doesn’t Run

First, Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

Finally got around to investigating why the center bath fan doesn’t run even though the Silverleaf is calling for heat in that zone. We’ve had the coach for almost 18 months and we don’t recall the fan ever running. I removed the heat exchanger and it is very, very warm to the touch so the zone is being supplied hot water from the Oasis. I checked for voltage at the fan wires and found 0 volts. Does anyone have an idea where the fan get its power from. I’m guessing maybe from the TM229?? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Quinton

Center Bath Fan Doesn’t Run

It gets its power from the KIB panel in the rear closet. There is a terminal (and fuse?) labeled “Stool Heater” or something like that. It’s on the board on the backside of the hinged front cover.

I believe the heater fan will only operate when the kitchen (?) heater fan is currently blowing, but I’m not positive.

Our 1/2 bath heater is totally independent from the kitchen heater. It actually seldom runs. Sometimes when I turn on the switch, it comes on, but that is only when the 1/2 bathroom and or the kitchen is cool. Before you do too much diagnosis, you could open the window, turn on the overhead fan to pull in some cool air, and close the door for a few min. Then later, go in and turn on the switch. If it is cool enough in the 1/2 bath, it will come on.

Thanks,
Stu
