Looking to purchase & either do a self install or pay to have it done.

Which one Dometic or Red Devil?

We have a DSDP 4009, installation suggestions?

Field Trip, we have the Red Devil and like it a lot. Have even been able to find replacement bags at Wal Mart. Watched the dealer do the install which was less than an hour and would not be afraid to do my own. We have an '04 mdl 4015 which is a 2 slide unit. They put vac itself in bay on passenger side where there was already 110 v outlet, drilled up through floor under refrig as there is plenty of clearance there and then routed through wall adjacent to refrig. All in all it was pretty straight forwardand when done we used it to vac up install debris under refrig. In our coach this placement is about half way thus can reach both ends with OEM Red Devil supplied hose, Ken Roberts...

We purchased the DIRT DEVIL at the FMCA rally and installed it yesterday. I located the main unit in the outside storage compartment directly in front of the right rear tires. That area has an electrical outlet to power the unit. The inside outlet was installed close to the floor level under the stove. I also purchaed an extra tee and outlet connector and had this installed right at the main unit so I could use the vac outside. After only one day, my wife says its the best thing to have and she loves it.
