What do you do if you need to buff out tree scratches after the coating is applied?
According to my cousin who applies this stuff for a living (auto detailer), the TerraShield product. "use a heat gun for small scratches in the ceramic coating" he says its 3x harder than your typical clear coat finish. so hopefully less scratches. i'm sure extra caution is needed on fiberglass

Finally got a pic to post.

Posting pic if it works....this is a ten year old Newmar Ventana. Stored outside for years. We bought it about a year ago. The ceramic coating process took about five days working by myself. I think it looks as good as new!

Coach looks great!

I have CQuartz on my GT350, thinking about it for new MH as well, but cost of application is hard to swallow.

What motorcycle carrier is that?

Ceramic coating

It is hard but you can do it yourself.
1. A good wash to get off lose dirt
2. A through wash with a wax remover
3. Buff the paint with a light polish to remove minor scratches, if you have the need, clay bar it (I skipped this because I felt the polish did enough.
5 slowly and carefully apply the ceramic coating as directed.

Take pics and post your hard work!

How is the coating applied? Is it a paste type material that is applied like a wax and then buffed out or is it a liquid that is applied? Or ?

Liquid

It’s a kind of thick liquid. You pot it on an area 2X2 foot. You can not let it dry before you buff it out!!

I spilled just a little on the sidewalk, it only shows up when it rains because it keeps the sidewalk dry!

I just got an appointment for my coach. I initially was looking for wash, paint correction, clay, and wax.

I have a lot of swirl Mark's from the factory, and I don't want to wax without getting that resolved.

The price was 1850.00 for the 8 month ceramic spray, or 250 for an extra coating which is 12 month.

I asked about the 7 year ceramic and they quoted 5900 for that. I am going to have that applied, and will try to have some good before and after pictures.
