This is your King Aire on crack.
Last year EC had a front end face lift and when that came up there was mostly a dislike to the change. After a while, MEH.
I'm kinda curious on how any company comes up with these esthetic changes. While what is inside the wrapper is important, the good looking wrapper gets folks inside the package.

It is actually a very common thing for vehicles to have smiles. It makes them seem desirable. Acura has done this for years on the rear of their cars and recently moved it to the front as well.

I don't think it's smiling, I think it's saying 'yabbadabbado!' 😃

The "Smile" looks silly. Otherwise an awesome looking coach that I'll never own.

And that is the precise reason we have never bought an Acura (although we did own a Miata which admittedly did have a bit of the similar "smiley" look). While a KA isn't in our category, a DS and MA are. The "smiley" look would be a turn off.

Not my taste, but someone will buy it.
Appears they're trying to mimic Entegra.

If I could afford a KA. There would be two smiles.

The Chrome smile does nothing for the front end of their "Flagship" !
Looks cheap in my opinion, and would want to paint it.........

This smile conversation makes me think that one is judging these rigs as Corvettes or Ferraris. At the price of these, you are talking homes. I wouldn't not buy a home based on the design of the front door.

Redbaron, I too am considering a 2017 Dutch Star. I very much appreciate all your commentary (along with others) regarding the air leveling /active air suspension and current issues that need to be addressed on the 17 models. I'm assuming that it is not an option to have Newmar install the air leveling upgrade during the build process. Where would you recommend having this upgrade installed?

HWH is the only place to get it installed. The cost for active air is about $10k and 1 week of time.

Wow, They're proud of that. My last coach was a 45' Eagle. The air leveling was something I would use at nearly every stop, even if for a quick lunch. Would be hard to give up. I've not driven a coach without active air suspension but I can imagine that would be a missed option as well.
Thanks!
