On our Essex it was under the passenger electronic controls, so we had it extended up so we could easily change the code.

Some of the newer units are programmed from the keyless enty pad. Check your instructions...I don't have mine here at the house but if you need them send me a PM and I'll go to the storage area and get them.

On our 2007 DS the button is on the back side of the passenger cupholder/console.

In my 2006 they forgot to put the switch in and the dealer had to install one in the passenger side control area.

Thanks, Daryl

I forgot to mention that the keypad on my 2006 was defective and was replaced in Nov. of 2007.
My original unit did not have a way of changing the code as Newmar failed to install the switch.
