Chassis Batteries

Since bringing our 17LA to shop for service work my chassis batteries via Silverleaf shows the yellow lightning bolt on chassis battery but showing 11.6V
Recap-Shop plugged in MH but for some reason turned off the charger via Silverleaf , they could not answer why.
Recap2- They unplugged AGM switch in genset compartment, again not sure why.

I am at work but reading through literature, should I do a soft reset on inverter?

Or could it be some type of isolator, prohibiting the charger/inverter from contacting chassis batteries?

Thanks David

If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like your BIRD relay is not closing. If your house batteries are getting up to 13.2V,try hitting the boost switch a time or two and see if the voltage jumps up on your chassis batteries shortly after. This happened to mine and I'm not sure if it killed the chassis batteries or if it was just their time. I replaced them and now when I park the rig plugged in, I check the voltage on house and chassis batteries. If the BIRD is working, they should be within 0.1V of each other after being plugged in for a while.

If all if the batteries are low, the isolation relay will not close, joining the 2 banks, until the one bank has charged above 13.4 volts.

If your on shore power the house battery will be getting charged by the inverter/charger. Once they recover to about 75% ( 13.4 volts ), the isolation solenoid will close and also charge the chassis batteries.

If that doesn't happen, something is wrong with the solenoid or the control for it.
