After someone told me that my right headlight on my 05KSDP, FL-XC chassis was out,I started looking for what the problem was.
We always check the rear turn signals & stop lights, but never checked the front (in 6 years),don't like to drive at night because of road gators and other debris.
I found the "fuse like" breakers in a box in the basement below the drivers seat.---they were good. On the in-line connector near the headlight,I had incoming 12Volt,but not outgoing. I found this by using very sharp needle like probes right into the wire's.
When I opened the connector,I found one pin had pushed the matching sleeve backwards. Put it all back in place and voila,we have a working headlight again for the first time since time began.
The headlights are the "slanted" ones used on the 05 KSDP and others.
How would one get to the dual filament bulb? Are the headlights sealed?
Who made these lights? Has any one replaced a headlight or bulb?
It does not look easy, one would almost have to break his neck to do the job.
Thanks for your reply's.
Siggy

All the bulbs including turn signal and park should be accessible from the rear of the assy. Open the generator access door. The bulb socket should twist 1/4 turn CW and remove. Light assy's are not sealed. Not sure who manufactured your lights but Newmar probably knows.

I can answer some of my own questions now.
The "slanted" headlights on the 05 KSDP and others are from a 2000~2006
Ford Taurus, the bulbs are HB5,exchangeble.
