Chipped my tile! :-(

I dropped my phone on the tile and it chipped a small round piece out of it. Even though it's under the dining table, I thought I would try a ceramic filler to cover it up. Here's the video and product that I used:

There is some artistic finesse in mixing the colors and it took me several attempts to get it to where it was acceptable to me. Also, the surface isn't as smooth as the surrounding tile, but for the most part, it's really hard to find where the repair was done, except when you look at it at certain angles. I'm not sure how long it will hold up over the long run, but I'm happy with it so far.

Here's the before and after:

Very well done !

but lot a lot of things,
YOU will be the only one that notices it and
YOU will be the one that it irritates to no end, so fixing it is the right thing to do

Yup. Others will not know its there unless you point it out. So don't sweat it.

And thanks for the product tip.

Ours also has a small chip about the size of a small pencil eraser between the table and sink counter, which must have happened while they were changing the back-splash in the kitchen. It just chipped off the color which leaves a white spot and isn't too noticible unless you look in the precise direction as it somewhat blends in with the other color patterns. Been trying to decide whether to have the whole tile replaced or just patch the chip.
Glad to get the information on what to use/how to patch it.
I always thought ceramic tile was very tough and easy to take care of but it seems to be just the opposite. It seems to really be lightly painted porcelain coated clay tiles. Between the cheap furniture coverings and the tiles we feel like we're on egg shells all the time.
