Class A Only List

Sometime ago I remember someone starting a Class A only parks list on here. A search did not find it. Does anyone have the link?

This site was never for Class A only parks. The purpose of the web site was to identify premium parks that met certain basic criteria. The site was intended to be "crowd sourced" but that never really happened except when it was started. Folks like to use the site but for whatever reason there is little interest in supporting the site with feedback.

So it is what it was. A one time effort to identify premium parks meeting a set of criteria. Now the site is "stale" since it has not been updated in many months.

Bottom line we identified less than 200 "premium RV parks" in the US. Pretty sad. There are some states where no premium RV parks were identified.

We use "The Big Rig Best Bet" for RV locations and even have site numbers to select.

I really never found the original list started on here very useful. Everyone's "criteria" is different. For example, we need 75' to 100' pull through sites and it is our first requirement. Just finished several months of travel out west and into the southwest and some of the nicest parks we used were in the $25 to $30 range and would not have fit into the "criteria" that was originally published on here.

I understand why it was started on here, but I also understand why is faded away. There are a lot of good resources already in place for locating the "right" campground.

FWIW I thought it was an admirable effort by turbopilot , and the problem wasn't with the concept, but with the users/contributors. Why? Because people don't READ!. They see the headline, make assumptions and just plain take things in whatever direction suits them.

But alas, that's society today... Anyway, no more rant - TY to turbopilot for all the work on that.
