After several hours of baking soda, water and brushes the batteries are all cleaned up, sealed the terminals with silicon grease. The problem is that I have to remove one plus terminal from the house batteries to slide the drawer out. It seems to be about 14 inches too short to allow the drawer to slide out more than a few inches. Is this a design thing so that you have to disconnect them or had someone rewired it or cut the cable short? Its a 2000 Kountry Star DP. Thanks for any help you can give.

My cable was also too short, and it finally pulled out of the clamped end. I soldered it back long enough to get back to Camp Newmar. (I had an appt set anyway) They replaced it and now I can pull the drawer all the way out. VACMAN
