Cleaning the dryer vent

Anybody know the easiest way to clean the dryer vent?
Do I need to remove the dryer?
I think I have lint buildup in the vent hose and it's causing the dryer to operate inefficiently so its time to tackle this project.

Just wondering if anyone knows the best way to get it done.

You open the door and on the back right side you will see a place to put three fingers in and pull it and the lint filter will come out.

dryer vent

I used the vacuum with a "Dust Daddy" I bought at WM. It is a hose attachment that has several small tubes that fit between the large screen behind the filter. Not the quickest way but it beats removing the dryer. Also, turn the dryer to the air setting and use a dryer vent brush to remove lint from the outside of the coach. I just go in about 1/2 the length of the brush head.
Dryer get almost daily use and has always work well.

Thanks Tom, no problem with the official lint trap, always keep it clean. My concern is that I may have lint buildup in the actual vent hose between the dryer and the outside outlet.
Trying to find the easiest way to access it and clean it, shop vac it, blow it out, or something.

Can you take off your outside vent cover to remove lint?If so might try a clothes hanger and run it down your hose

I’m guessing a narrow vacuum hose up from the outside vent. I think pulling the dryer ahead an inch or two to check the duct routing would help.

If the lint will not come out sucking it out will blowing it out work?

That's the way I clean my Splendide washer/dryer combo vent.
