New Direction---
I have seen the posts on the stainless steel skirts. We don't know if we really like the looks of them, and would like to see a coach "live" to know for sure....
But.....
What would your thoughts be of a clear coating like the front cap? Kind of like the idea of not covering up the paint but still protecting it.

Ernie, The Diamond Shield would certainly work, but the stainless does look good in my opinion. If you are down near Fort Myers Fl. and would like to see mine, let me know. I actually had it installed more for the looks than protection.

Hi! We are doing ours for looks also. Protection for the kick plate. Ours is being done before the super show and can be looked at at the Newmar rally starting Thurs. Paul

Were did you guys have the SS skirts done? And, roughly, what's the cost? I think it looks great!
Also, is there an option to replace the steps with something that looks like a slide out drawer, similar to what's on Monaco coaches?

Hi! Just for info; Newmar are using those stairs on the 07 Essex & Mountain Aire. Summit told me Monaco had an exclusive up until this year on those steps. I do not know if they can be retro-fitted. Paul

I had mine done at Summit in Johnston Iowa. 10" on the horizonal plain, all risers inside and out and one piece accross the front indent. Roughly $4,000.

Peter, you had it done before inflation drove up the price... and the success of orders at the Super Rally. Last week Albert of Summit quoted me nearly $5,000 for what you had done, or darn close to it.
You are always at the right place at the right time.

Chuck, May be it's not the same thing or being at the plant is easier for them as compared to a field installation. Either way, it works for me.

Anyone that will be in Tampa that may want Summit install may want to contact me...
Looks like I "may" be paying for stainless and not having it installed as I had committed to have it done and MAY not go through with it,depending on whether or not I do London Aire.
As I had committed to them I feel compelled to compensate them....it's the right thing to do.

I don't know, Bob. An Essex, a London Aire, as my grandmother used to say, "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't."
Additionally, in my opinion, the EXDP looks better than the LADP.
