Clearance lights Top Front of '15 Dutch Star

I recently noticed that three of the five clearance lights on the top front of
my '15 DSDP 4369 were not lit. I can't say positively they've worked since
I purchased the coach over a year ago...but, can't believe I wouldn't have
noticed. In any case, upon close inspection of each of the lights, I found
that each would come on when I twisted it, but would go out when I
let go. I solved the problem by cutting through the sealant, moving the
light to the point where it would stay on, then re-sealed each of them.
Obviously, there was a short in each of them, but I did not remove them to more closely inspect for the problem. Other owners may wish to take a close look at theirs.

Hugh are they sealed lights or do they have bulbs? If you twisted them and got them working i'm thinking bad grounds or dirty bulb connections. If they are bulbs , go to any auto parts store and buy a tube of dielectric grease and clean the contact end of the bulb so it is shiny and put a tiny bit of grease on them. If they are sealed units , it is most likely a bad ground wire as most newer and some older units are mostly fiberglass and must have good grounds! Bobby

They are sealed units, no bulbs, I had to replace a couple of them shortly after getting my coach. They sent them to me under warranty but I changed them myself, wasn't hard to do.

If you ever need to change them because of leaks try the install this gentleman did.
If you need the wiring open off panel behind the overhead fan motor.
