I have tried to locate Grote clearance lights as 2 or 3 are burned out. They appear to be LED. I took the lens cover off and I'm not sure how the light mechanism comes loose. I went to several internet sights that sell Grote thinking that if I saw them it would give me a clue as how they attach. I could not find the exact model so I called and they have to have a part number. I gave them the number on the lens cover and they said thats not a part number. Anyone have any ideas will be appreciated.

My 1999 MA used Grote #45713 for the front clearance lights. I replaced them with Grote #47263 led lights. On mine after I removed the lens Newmar had installed a screw to hold the base down. After I removed that screw I still had to pry, pull, twist, and use a putty knife to get them off, Newmar glued them down pretty good. Also try www.grote.com to find your lights. Hope this helps.

I replaced the front amber lights with a Grote Supernova LED. There
is the issue you will have on the gaskets. The new lights don't come
with gaskets. Use the old gaskets or caulk. I caulked. I think somone
said that Newmar can get the gaskets for you. I did not check.

Try to search the grote site: http://grote.com/prodcat/B.html

You are looking for a Grote #47263

Thanks for the help Jimary and Bill. That is the correct number (47263) I took off a panel on the left side of the TV to see if I could see anything that might be holding it from coming out. No Luck. I bought 2 new ones and was able to see the wiring. So I got some big pliers and pulled the old wires out. I mean they are really in there. I suspect Newmar sprayed inside the roof and wiring with a sound deadner so to pull the wires out does take a little muscle. I was afraid I might pull the wires out of their connectors so I only pulled them out far enough to strip the old wires and connect the new ones. Another 10 minute job that took 2 days. That's RVing! I still love it though!
