Comfort cruising speed!
We cruise between 66-67 mph in our LA. I see many must cruise at 75 mph. Maybe something is wrong with ours, I feel out of control at that speed. Do others feel comfortable cruising at 75?

Not in Newmar but, 75 is our cummins sweet spot....
Why do you feel out of control ?
Sway ? (maybe your tire psi is too low and allowing it too move around?)
Bouncy ? shocks ?
Swerving ? front end looseness ? drag link ? steering? alignment ?

IMHO - 75 mph continuously is pushing the limit in any BIG rig. Just saying...
It's not only about how the engine feels; it's about general safety conditions too.

Tires are only rated for 75 mph do I would advocate that one should not drive any faster. Me.....64-65 mostly. JMHO

I agree. In most states, 75 is above the speed limit anyway. And, our big MH tires are usually rated at 70 to 75 mph maximum. Pushing them to the limit...or beyond...increases the level of risk.
Lighten up on the go-pedal just a little and enjoy the journey. You'll have a better chance of getting to your destination safely.

I mostly stay at 63 - 64 mph. That's my comfort zone.

In motorcycling, there is a saying: "Ride your own ride."
Stay within your own comfort zone and ability envelope. Assess your own risks and mitigate them appropriately. What works for someone else may not be right for you, and vice versa.
Your may drive faster (or slower) than I do. One of us might make it through the intersection when the other stops. We will wait for the other to catch up or we'll meet at the campground for dinner.
The important thing is that all of us stay safe to enjoy the journey.

In West Texas, many roads have 80-85 mph limits. Would not feel comfortable doing 60, afraid of being rear ended, so I keep it at 70-75.
But do what makes you happy.

Agreed, besides my bikes all went from zero to well above my IQ in a heart beat. Ride your own ride and get a sticker for your toad that says "Be patient, I'm pushing this big sucker as fast as I can."
My true comfort zone is 65. As a full timer I can plan ahead so I don't have to push too hard.

We cruise at about 60-62.....that’s our V10 happy spot. As others have said “enjoy the ride/journey”.
Have fun and play within your own limits......

We enjoy the journey and let our V 10 breath a little, keeping it between 60 and 65 .... Right lane all the way.

I haven't found the sweet spot yet. I do know that if I don't set the cruse I end up doing 75 to 80 on the freeway. I normally set the cruse at 65.

Normally 65ish for me. Puts engine around 1500rpm and seems to be a "happy" place for both of us.
