I am very interested to hear the answer to this, too.

Wow,comfort drive in the snow,I never thought of that.Lets all go out this winter and try doing donuts with our motorhomes and see what kind of extra steering control we get with comfort drive!!!!!!!!That could be a blast!! On second thought maybe we should just leave the motorhomes where they lay.! Seriously,It would be interesting to see if the extra power assist will help or hurt.Maybe Ken Sherwin would be able to shed some light on this topic.

Bob has quite a bit of experience with Comfort Drive in the snow.

Hopefully, he'll post of his adventures.

As Dirk so painfully reminds me, I do have quite a bit of experience with CD in the snow and on icy roads and have since been debriefed by Ken Sherwin regarding same...

What my experience with this particular road condition showed me was that the CD "did it's thing" without any noticeable response or reaction felt or taken on my part...

I was in a sub freezing blowing snow across the road condition coming DOWN a mountain behind two truckers and I can tell you the only thing I was thinking about was traction control...

Rode the rumble strip the entire way down the mountain and when I got down to the bottom the pucker factor was waaaay up there!!

Thanks for the memories....

I don't think he "tried" to do them.

It is a part of the Comfort Drive free gift campaign that is not advertised. My dealership mentioned it to us, but it was almost in passing, did not hype it at all. I test drove during the Redmond FMCA convention, person that accompanied me during my test drive was a Factory Service Manager, when he gave me the card mentioned nothing about the $1K certificate we would receive. When you take a comfort drive coach for a test drive, the dealership will give you a signed card with the dealership annotated, to send off to Newmar for your free gift. When I received my free gift I got a nice letter from Newmar thanking me for taking the test drive and my interest in a Newmar product, along with it was a certificate that was redeemable for either $1K cash or could be used against my negotiated purchase price, (dealership gets the check). The certificate has the Dealership annotated on it that gave me the free gift card showing I completed a comfort drive test drive. When I took delivery, I had the dealership (again must be the same dealership that is annotated) fill out their portion and sign, I filled out the rest, signed it and send it off to Newmar. It took about 2 weeks for us to get our check from Newmar. Had some extra $$ for accessories.
