Comfort drive controls
I know there are many posters with comfort drive experience more than mine. The following is for my 2008 Kountry Star. In the attached pic, from left to right, is my headlamp switch (larger knob) , then my comfort drive switch (smaller knob ). At least that was my understanding. When I rotate the small knob my dash lights dim, when I rotate the headlamp switch nothing changes! I don't notice a difference in steering correction when adjusting the smaller knob. What is going on here?

If you have comfort drive there should be a knob with numerals 1 - 9. On my Dutch Star, that knob is on the right side of the steering wheel.

That year does not have adjustable Comfort Drive.
I believe 09 was the first year to get the knob.
That knob is for dash lights only.

OK , I know I have comfort drive. 08 is the 1st year in KSDP. I feel it centering when stopped. I didn't realise its not adjustable. Takes some worry away at least. I thought I had a terrible wiring problem. Anyone know why they didn't just use the rheostat in the headlamp switch ? Too large of a load maybe? Also the full turn to interior lamps powered the drivers overhead spotlamp. Anything else?

That knob is the dimmer for your dash lights.
