Talking Comfort Drive - I Owe You and Apology.

6 years ago we had a 39' gasser that I really disliked driving. Spent lots of time and too much money trying to fix it.

5 years ago we ditched the gasser and got our 2006 DSDP4320. I was in heaven. Since then I have theorized that CD wouldn't be that big of a deal on a longer wheel base coach. I didn't discount that it might make a small improvement but I just didn't think it was that big a deal.

I WAS WRONG!!!

I can not believe how much more enjoyable the our recently acquired 2015 DSDP4369 is to drive. I especially feel it in my wrists. Before, a long day in the saddle made my wrists a little sore. Now...not a twinge of discomfort and I feel less fatigued too.

I'm really looking forward to many more miles over the next few years.

Yeah, it's one of those things you have to experience for yourself before you "get it."

When we were looking for our used coach, CD was on my list of things I'd like to have -- but it wasn't a high priority. Now that I have it, I love it. And mine isn't even adjustable.

We first experienced CD in our 2014 Ventana LE...and, we were sold. When it came time to upgrade to our current coach, CD was a non-negotiable item. No CD, no purchase!

You really have to experience it to understand its advantages. We routinely drive 500 to 800 miles a day, with 925 as our longest day and we could never do it without comfort drive.

I have had my New Aire now 8 months. This is my 5th Class A, all DP's except for my first Class A, an Itasca (Winnebago) gasser. I have had another Itasca DP, a Country Coach (self proclaimed "Worlds Finest Motor Coach", an Tiffin Allegro Bus, and now a Newmar New Aire. There has been no difference in the quality and workmanship of any of the coaches. They have all been bad. BUT, the Comfort Steer sets the Newmar apart and to me anyway, there is nothing that compares to it as far as driving comfort of the coach. It is that good and well worth whatever we had to pay for it.
