Found a 02 Mountain Aire w/ 41K miles and a 370 Cummins. I'm very new to RVing (never owned one). Looked at a Monaco and a Tiffin so far. I think I'm going to drive over and check this one out in a few days. Any comments/suggestions welcomed.

We have several 2000-2004 Mountain Aire's in the clubs I belong to. Each owner loves their coach and I have heard no chronic complaints.

Welcome johnny to the Newmar forum.
Here is a brochure for that year and they also made a Limited MA for that year.
Both will give you options and chassis information.
I see no recalls for that year DP.
Good luck in your quest maybe you will joining the Newmar family.

The things I have looked for when purchasing our RV's are. Can I afford it, does the floor plan work for our family, can I get an extended warranty or can I afford the repairs that are going to be needed, how long do I plan to keep it, how often will I use it. Yeah that's alot to consider and you probably have thought about all those things. One more thing...Every MH will have problems no matter who made it or when it was made and how much it cost... So...if you like it....Buy it
