G'morning Y'all !!

Say,....for those of you Newmar owners that are members of the Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) and/or the NKK Fulltimers, how the dickens do you guys interact here on the internet??

I know, I know,....there's that Yahoo "groups" site, but we'll be danged if we can figure out how to carry on discussions with other NKK or NKK Fulltimers using that venue !!

Is there some other site where NKK and/or NKK Fulltimer members can participate in on-line dialog??

Sure wish this Newmar Owners section of this great iRV2 forum site had a topic heading for NKK/NKK Fulltimers.

Is there any chance it could be added to the Newmar Owners section of iRV2 ???

Steve & Lynette

We have a NKK forum entitled NKK Events.

If there is sufficient demand we could retitle it NKK Discussions similar to the other club forums.

Hi Dirk,
You have an excellent idea. How do we move forward? If we could make a NKK Events thread a sticky, I'd be in favor of retitling the forum to NKK Discussions.

Good Luck. A couple of us in the Fulltimers chapter tried our best to get them to move away from the Yahoo forum a couple of years ago, but there were several in the leadership who would not even consider that option. There is some new leadership there now, so it might stand a chance of happening.

What I had envisioned was a separate NKK forum, where you could have different forums for the state chapters and the home office, very much like IRV2.com is subdivided. Information would get out to the members much faster and allow everyone to interact if they desire.

I seem to remember that Tiffin has a separate forum.

It's done.

I've changed the name of the "NKK Events" forum to "NKK Events & Member's Forum" but we can title it anything if y'all have a better idea.

Start posting and spread the word!

Gary, we can make the event(s) stickys. Let me know which ones you want stuck.

Ben, we could do that if the NKK was interested.

If you go to the NEWMAR KOUNTRY KLUB website you can download the the Konnection magazine.
No the magazine will not keep up to date on a daily loop, but it is filled will all up coming events, local, regional and International.
Now if the Newmar owners do not support the Klub or paid their annual dues not only will the website disappear, but the Klub itself will have a hard time.
Current membership is less than 3000 of which there are approx. 700 known Life Members [non-dues paying].
The bi-monthly Konnection is support by both Life and yearly member who send in $15.00 per year.
Some of the problems facing NKK is some Newmar owners join FMCA Newmar Chapter and think they belong to the NKK, no two different Clubs, some iRV2 members think the same.
Unless you buy a new Newmar from a NEWMAR dealer, not a used, the chances are you will not be told about the NKK.
So all you Newmar owners who would like to join the Newmar Kountry Klub go to their website for all the information.

Hi TW,
To add a bit of information to the previous posts, go to Welcome to Newmar Kountry Klub. This is the Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) web site. On the Klub site, you can read about the Klub and its' activities. You can join the Klub by clicking on the "Join our Klub" link in the left side navigation bar or go to Join the Newmar Kountry Klub. The thought of having a place for Klub members to discuss Klub topics of the day, in real time, was proposed by the OP. Like other forums, on iRV2, any iRV2 member can post to the forum. However, the topics presented, in the forum, should be about the NKK and of interest to NKK members. iRV2 is real time. Real time communications can be a benefit.

As soon as the details are sorted out, NKK events will be a sticky inside the forum. This will make it easier to look for an NKK event versus sorting through the threads posted about other NKK topics.

Discussions about Newmar coaches will remain as it has been.

Hey, DIRK!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for opening a means for discussion up above under the NKK Events & Members area. I REALLY think this move will ultimately GROW the NKK participation. It may take a little time, BUT....I think it's NOW going to take off!! THANKS AGAIN.

Can a note in "red" say only NKK business, rv related posts should be in Newmar forum.
