I installed solid surface in my own house several years ago, and must admit I broke my own rule by touching up every fine scratch for the first few weeks, only when I let some time pass did the counters even out and develop a nice overall and practical appearance . If a satin appearance is acceptable to you, you might consider having a pro come in and do this for you, it will be a lot less work for you moving forward.

Thanks Joe, sounds like great advice! What do you recommend for daily cleaning? Or as important, what products should we NOT use?
