My 2000 Dutch Star DP passenger seat belt receiver's (the one that attaches to the bottom of the seat) plastic cover has 2 good sized cracks that allow the receiver to "flop" over rather than set up straight. Does anyone have a replacement source or a "fix" for this part. I've hit the internet, junk yards and auto zone and couldn't find a replacement. Would a hot glue gun work on this?

Any help would be appreciated.

I messed with mine on my 2001 a couple of years ago and the best I came up with was to remove the ugly cracked cover and let the belt sit in the hinged-area of the seat when not in use.

I had the same problem with my 2000 DSDP and ordered replacements from Newmar. The cost was resonable.

Either Newmar parts or a plastic welding tool. Glue won't work.

Thanks to all of responded to my request for help. I called 'Bill' at Newmar Parts (800-731-8300) and he ordered me two plastic replacement covers for the one cracked cover - one for the replacement and one for inventory. The unit price is $6.35 + minimal s&h. Call Bill if you need a replacement.
