Cracks in Fiberglass

Here's a couple pics of the areas that had stress cracks on our 2013 DS -- I put a piece of blue tape near the area to point it out... the coach had about 1400 miles on it when the dealer noticed the issues while fixing other problems like the leaky roof.
Terry43-- did they cover your repairs ???

Have been in contact with NewMar customer service and have sent them a picture that shows the cracks clearly. i believe that they will cover under warranty since I am only under 2 months past one year warranty date.

I will check this area on mine in the morning; I believe NewMar will cover this under warranty. I will post when I get their final decision.

Glad to hear about Newmar. While I was doing some clean up outside I looked ours over, no cracks.

I'd like to know what the cause is.

Update on status of cracks in end cap. Took Dutch Star to Southaven RV and their inspection verified that cracks caused by manufacturer's defect; so now have an appointment scheduled for May of next year(coinciding with a visit to relative in Michigan) to have repaired under warranty. had to jump through lots of hoops but in the end got what I wanted. Thanks NewMar a great company.
