This is where we bought our 2011 DSDP' made purchase over internet. Salesman did not seem to have much interest in us when we arrived to make swap out. Service guys did a great job of swapping satellite system out and fixing all known issues before we left with exception of cracked floor tile. Had to go to factory to get fixed NewMar paid for fuel to and back from factory. PDI was just OK biggest gripe was lack of knowledge of TwinTemp furnace/water heater. Finance guy was terrific.
Good Luck,
Terry

I am working on something similar to your experience in regards to a remote type purchase. We live 1000+ miles away and I want to make sure the dealership has the resources to perform at least the PDI, systems checks, etc. and I can get home with an operating coach. Factory is closer to home so we'd take it to Newmar if we needed anything in the future.

We've had 4 coaches since 2000 and 3 were DP but this would be our first Newmar. Can't imagine there is that much difference but you never know.

Thanks for your input.

Curious: if Nappanee is closer to home, why not select factory delivery? Totally thorough PDI, comprehensive systems familiarization, immediate onsite discrepancy fixes. Several forum regulars have chosen this option and were very pleased.

If the deal is good enough then I would not be concerned with their service department on fixing minor issues. We stayed on their lot while they fixed the new coaches small issues. The real difference you will see with NewMar is the Comfort Drive; I would never have another coach without it except maybe a Provost <grin>. My advice is to keep working with them to get best price then throw in some extra requests full tank of fuel; couple of patio chairs; patio rug and don't forget the lowest loan rate...

The coach is sitting on the dealers lot in Little Rock.
