And Slabman, thank you... I was laying in bed at 6 AM and the light went on... that arm retains the "topper cover" in the closed position. I'll be contacting the topper manufacturer and Newmar for more information!!

Ken, I think Newmar is putting the 'arms' on the driver side full wall slide topper cap to avoid the problem you had. Until they put two arms on our full wall slide we had the same problem.

Thanks to the Forum members and the great folks at Coachlight RVI have two "Topper Bumpers" on order and being drop shipped to our daughter on the West Coast so I can install them as we continue our trip. Here's a close up of the bumper that's installed with two self tapping screws.



Thanks for the comments and help in solving what turns out to be a problem with a simple solution!!
