We are full timers in a CS3710. Actual weights are:
Weights (4 corner) with 2 people, a dog, all of our stuff, plus full fresh tank, full propane, empty black/grey tanks and 3/4 fuel. Total weight was 24,500 so have 1500 pounds to spare. Very impressed with the side to side balance - left front 175# more than right front and right rear only 75# more than left rear. Both axles well under rated capacity.
Hope this helps.

Do you happen to have the actual weights from the 4 corners you could share? Very happy to hear that full timers are well under axle capacity (front and rear). Although we are not yet full timers, this is our plan. This was a driving factor in choosing the 3710 as it is the smallest unit Newmar puts on the 26K chassis.

The weights at each corner were:
Passenger front 4125
Driver front 4300
Passenger rear 8075
Driver rear 8000
The weigh in was done at the Escapees park in Bushnell Fl. They told me they see very few coaches this well balanced.
I set the tire pressures according to the Michelin load and inflation guide at 85 front and 90 rear. I added one step (5psi) as insurance. The coach rides and handles very well with these tire pressures.
This is a great full timers coach - big enough to have all of the amenities but short enough to fit in almost any National or State park. The load capacity gives me peace of mind - I like running 1500 pounds under capacity. My previous ride was maxed out with the same load plus I had to run with 1/2 tank (or less) of fresh water to stay at the GVWR - and it was a diesel pusher!

2Escapees, thanks for your reply. We love the 3710 floorplan and I am now even happier that my calculations appear to have proven out regarding the capacity of the chassis. Can't wait to get ours out of storage... Gotta love it when a plan comes together.

Wow, has that changed since we ordered and bought the '02 DSDP's. Newmar absolutely refused, in writing, to give us the weights as it left the factory. Luckily one of the tech people accidentally gave them to me. I was then able to get Newmar to authorize a weight/driving test at Hendersons that resulted in a letter to Newmar stating the rig was overweight. Which resulted in an upgrade from the 12,000# to a 14,600# front axle.

I just called Newmar Customer Service and asked for a copy of my factory weights. The needed either the VIN or Coach #, which I provided. They emailed me the info within about 5 minutes.
Wonder if your issue was due to the weight (overweight) issue that was going on regarding the DSDPs at the time?? I understand that issue has now been resolved.
