My 14 ISL9 manual recommends CES20081. CES20086 would be nice but if I can't find it I will still continue to use 81. And 81 should not void the warranty or cause any problems.
Just so you know the Walmart Super Tech 15W- 40 meets the 81 spec.

Full Timers.

This is a funny discussion. It's easy to go straight to the horses mouth... https://www.mobil.com/English-US/Com...vac-1300-Super

I just wish they followed Rotella's lead and certified it for JASO MA

On edit: Cummins always recommends Valvoline Premium Blue. We don't know what the deal behind the scene is. One thing for sure, Delvac 1300 didn't go through the approcal process, either Mobil didn't submit it for the approval or failed to pass the vetting. However, Mobil claims it meets or exceeds the requirement. Admitted my engine is different than yours, and know nothing about Newmar coaches. I just happened to have the jug in hands and saw your post on Cummins forum too, so took the liberty to chime in.

All Cummins engines come from the factory with Valvoline Premium Blue oil in them. Probably why the recommend it and use it at all their shops.

You need to read the Cummins recommendation in detail. It recommends Valvoline Premium Blue "or equivalent". Yes the Cummins factory ships engines with Valvoline just like the Corvette factory uses Mobil 1. Its a partnership with the oil manufacturers . As long as the oil specifications are met for the engine, the oil is suitable.
