Cummins recall notice

For anyone who has had the Cummins recall work on the isolators done has this been an inside job on all coaches? And does it look like something that is really absolutely necessary, or maybe just Cummins CYA situation?

I am only giving my opinion on this but I believe you absolutely should let them perform this and any campaign. I thought I read on this forum about a owner that had a fuel line rupture and caused quite a mess.

Get the isolator "program" or "recall" or whatever they're calling it now, done! It takes about 15 minutes which is way, way, way better than the 3 weeks or so it takes to clean up and replace things that will be damaged (carpet, fabrics, etc. inside that absorb smell as well as the engine compartment needing to be cleaned) if a line breaks.

I just had the isolators added to my coach. I agree with the previous comments. I'm not going to take the risk of a broken fuel line. Freightliner obviously decided they needed to be added for a reason.
