Curb and roadside security lights

Hello, I am new to this forum also a new fulltimer. I have a 2005 dutchstar ( aprox 1 mo) the outside security lights were working fine but tonight they would not come on by using the overhead switches located above the passenger seat. I checked all the 12 v fuses in pannel in bathroom , all ok. Any ideas what to check? I can't believe both bulbs would go bad at the same time. Thanks in advance. Roger

Welcome to the forum & irv2 Roger.
Its possible you have blown bulbs or corroded connections in sockets for bulbs.
I have three switch's to turn on my lights, overhead, one on LR slide and one on the bedroom slide for drive side SL's.
Did you try pulling fuse and resetting it in its holder.
Here is a link for 12v battery system and 12v wiring system in your coach.
If pulling and resetting fuse, have to check bulbs & sockets.
In my signature you will find more useful info related with your coach.

On my 05 Dutch Star, the driver's side security light switch is in the control panel on the upper passenger side front. The passenger side security light switch is under the kitchen cabinet.

On most Newmar 12 volt fuses are in the outside cabinet in the front by drivers seat. Tom 04 Essex

When we ordered our DSDP, we ordered 2 extra lights on each side and extra switches in the bedroom. Hope I never need to find the fuses as Newmar hid them all over the place when ours was built. In later years they consolidated them.

If it happens to be the bulb that is burned out pick up an extra one when you replace them. They are not a common lamp that you'll find at an auto store or most rv outlets. Mine were 50Watt 12Volt and finally found them at Lazy Days in Seffner, FL. I wish I could remember the part number of the bulb but of course I can't.
