Dash AC Fan Fuse

03 Essex 4371 dash air fan has stopped working. I am assuming it is probably the fuse..... but haven't been able to locate it yet. Thought it would be in the driver side outside fuse panel, but all I have been able to find is the AC clutch fuse which is good. Any ideas would be helpful....

Can you access the control panel in the dash> I don't know which brand of AC you have in there but if you can then test the DC output of the fan control in the dash. That will tell you whether that is broken. The Evans Tempcon systems that I have had have problems with those rotary switches. I replaced two. On my RV the AC fan fuse was in the coach fuse panel which was under the dash and hard to access. You may have (or should get) an owners manual for the coach which will tell you what and where.

On mine there is a box of CBs on the firewall above the genny. The fan on the evaporator radiator is inside there on the bottom of the box. Do you know if you have this box on yours?

No CBs on the firewall above the genny. Nothing in the bathrooms panels, nothing on the fuse panel lower driver side outside compartment. Still looking for other areas with panels......... going to try under the dash next, and if not there will remove the switch and test it..... last resort will be to contact Spartan I guess.

Although I have never tried to contact Spartan the ones I have contacted have been pleasant and informative. That might even be you'r first thing to try. They can also point you at a downloadable manual which you will be very grateful for in times to come.

Look around here. These seem like the sort of folks that would be helpful.
