Dash Fan Annoying Hum
Good Morning Everyone,
Regardless of whether we use the heater or AC we picked this annoying hum when the fan is on. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the solution something easy like just having replaced or is it something more complicated? It just happened this season.
Thanks and All the best,
Jeff and Lynn

Good afternoon, Jeff
You may need to clean the fan blade that might have collected dirt on its blades.
This link will lead your to EVAN's information.

Yep sounds like fan is out of balance, leaves and paper are big offenders

Been there done that- the bearings are going out on your fan. Pretty good job to replace it as you have to pull the door side dash. Mine did the same thing last year & I had to have it replaced.

Mine was bad the day I picked the coach up new. It's not a hard job to replace, just time consuming. The panel in front of the passenger's seat has to be removed. On mine you remove the grab handle and the metal vent along the bottom, a screw near the radio end and two by the door. The cover slips off and motor is right there. It comes out with either 3-4 bolts, don't remember now. I think it's a GM motor and squirrel cage. I found it easier to replace mine, even though it was under warranty, than to take to shop for repair.
