the dash gauges are inop including the tack. had it in the shop and they replaced 3N1 tach gauge. worked ok driving it home, couple days later went to start engine and no gauges same as before. have a spartan chasis. was wondering if anyone has had this problem before?

Hi Keith, Welcome to the forum. Because all do not work, and a newly installed Tach also is non-operative, I would suspect a grounding issue. You or a service person should find where all the gauges are grounded and follow it back to check the source. Don't be fooled by the fact that your multi-meter shows a ground, it may show one but have such a poor contact it will not handle any current flow. Good Luck.

Thanks Lug_Nut for the info. Guess I will take to another shop since its under warranty. Maybe they will have a tech that is good with trouble shooting......

Found the problem>> Started checking all the connection back of dash gauges and ever time I moved one set of wires going to the odometer it would start working. Called Spartan and they sent me a new speed odometer. That fixed the problem. Sure was happy not to have to take it to another dealer. Thanks for all the help.
