Day after PDI

OK so the day after our first night with the camper we have three issues I can't figure out on our LE. First is the electric water heater will not work at all either on generator or 50 amp. Valves in bed room are right because gas heater works.

Second issue is the zone 2 furnace heater runs, and runs loud, but does not put out much air anywhere and therefore never stops running. "Obstruction"? Thankfully, zone 1 ran great and kept the coach warm down to 15 in the Poconos.

Third is the DVD in the front cabinet turns on and spins but I can't get the tv to switch from over from air/cable to dvd. I have pushed every button on the spliter and used every imput on the tv to no avail. It uses the red yellow and white RCA cables from the dvd to the spliter.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Steve.

There's a ON/OFF rocker switch on the front of the water heater, is it turned ON?

Don't feel too bad - there is a lot of stuff to take in. If those are your only issues you did well. ;-)

Also check the WH switch in the cabinet over the coach entryway.

On the water heater: Outside you need to open the cover. Under there you will find a rocker switch with a keeper pin through it. Remove pine, flip switch. Go inside turn on the electric element for the water heater.

Can you please tell us what TV and show a pic of you AV equipment. There are so many different things out there, a photo solves all questions.

The rear furnace may of had a connecting tube come off. You will need to look at all vent tubes.

Steve.

I'd help but sounds like you have different a/v systems than we do. Ours is all hooked up via HDMI, no red/white/yellow cables (analog audio/composite video) anywhere.

Re: the heat. Do you have the Oasis (hydronic) system?

007,

From Farmer Steve's description, it sounds like he doesn't have the HDMI option.

On our Ventana with the HDMI option, there are no switchers, just two HDMI splitters. All input selection is done via the TV's "Input" button.

Newmar (or the guy who did our PDI at RVONE) even had all the Sony TV inputs electronically labeled "Bluray", "Satelite" etc. A nice touch IMO.

Keep looking in COM_NET for descriptions of different TV setups but still see the same they have had for a couple of years.
Different coach's should have something added in their OWNERS GUIDE'S maybe they will eventually.

Newmarpusher no we have regular old twin gas furnaces and two heat pumps on the roof. I just get a whisper of warm air out the bed vent and the hall vent and nothing out of the bathroom vent. Zone 1 blow a nice flow of warm air with less noise.

PDI John, I have ipad in hand and will try some pix of a/v. Also, opened the water heater panel and it has a rocker switch with a piece of tape holding it to the on position. No pins as I see it.
