day running lights

Does anyone have the wiring diagram that illustrates the day running light system. My running lights are not working and I have replaced with bulbs to no avail. I have not been able to find a fuse that appears to be in the system. I am told that the engine needs to be running and the parking brake has to be off

On your main fuse panel, you should have a fuse and a relay labeled DRL (or similar) check the fuse. And yes, need to have the engine running and the park brake Disengaged for them to come on. Two person job unless you are parked in front of a wall.

Along those same lines, the fuse for my DRLs is missing. I presume it was removed by the previous owner.

What size fuse is supposed to be in there? On mine, it is fuse position F22 in the storage compartment under the driver's side window.

Peter, you may want to call Spartan. I believe that i read that the DRLs are controlled by a Spartan controller

When our day time running lights stop working on our 04 Essex we had to replace the controller which came from Spartan around 500$. Do your regular headlights work?

day running lights

Thanks to all for help.

On further research found both grounds(four wire connector adjacent to headlight units) had corrosion/dirt build up.
Lights now working after cleaning and dielectric grease.

thanks again

I pulled the relay to stop ours from working on our '02 DSDP.
