Before my two year warrantee was up I hurried to get LaMesa to repair my Diamond Shield (April). There were some bubbles they took pictures of, and sent to DS for approval. DS called me, and told me they will schedule it, but it was too hot, could I wait? Sure, but then the Winter creeped up on me, and I remembered that DS had not called to schedule a repair. I called them, sent them new pictures, their repair guy called, and visited my coach for the repair. He could not have been nicer. He did a fabulous job, and told me that I did not have to be in such a hurry, as the DS has a five year warrantee. He did a small section in the front, and replaced the entire piece over the step (looks brand new).

Hi! That's great news for the Diamond Shield Owners. Newmar has switched over to Digi Shield. I am not sure what the Warranty is on that product. Paul

I had my DS replaced at Newmar in the summer of 07 I believe.
I am starting to see some discoloration around the edges.
Just wondering if that 5 year warranty is in place since I had all new DS put on my unit then.
There is a DS facility in Titusville, Fla, will have to call them.

My Coach is an '05 and I had some bubbles under the DS on lower front over the Generator. Last summer when I was in Napanee they repainted the front of the rig and replaced the DS.
