Diesel particulate filter lamp

The DPF light lit on the dash just shortly after braking hard to a stop on the expressway. It stayed lit for about 5 minutes, off for a minute then back on for maybe 10 in till the traffic picked up. The high exhaust temp lamp did not come on neither did the check engine lamp. There's less than 4000 miles on the coach. I think there's probably not an issue but am wondering if regen took place or not. I spent hours in crawling traffic yesterday. If it did would I have seen a high temp light also? I suspect there's a shorting plug but the coach is "in the barn" so I can't look for it. Does anyone have a description and picture for the Ventana?

I’ve had the same thing happen. Normal regen probably due to the traffic you were in. If there is a malfunction, you’ll get the check engine light and it will stay on.

OP, we had the same thing happen on the start of our four month trip - with like 1400 miles on it. I attributed it to idle time at the dealership - plus it mostly sat in my RV port for a couple of months - aside from some somewhat short trips to get the towing package installed and a short shakedown trip to Fort Wilderness. 3000 miles later - I have not seen it again. I would attribute it as normal at this point.
