I have read that Newmar changed the dutchstar after 2008. Have they lowered the quality? What are the actual differences? I have found a 2009 4333 that is priced below 200K with low miles. It is a long way to go look at it want some info before we make the investment to go look. Or should I concentrate my efforts and try to find 2008 model. Thanks in advance.

Welcome nwokhunter to Newmar forum & irv2.
Both years the DS's would not be a difference in quality the change in 08 would be the addition of Comfort Drive steering which is in all models since 08.
I'm sure others will have comments.

I don't think that reduced quality is an accurate description, but features were changed/removed to lower the price point in 2009.
In 2009, Newmar reduced the features of the Dutch Star significantly and introduced the Dutch Aire as a replacement.
The Dutch Aire is no longer being made and I believe the Dutch Star is getting back to it's previous level of features.

Geez eh! I thought this one I could answer real good! A Year? Like about 12 months!
I didn't know it was going to be a technical question.
I e-mailed all the Amigos and told them I thought they could finally answer a forum question correctly and to get on right away before someone else figured it out. Of course they had to use a calculator. Finally they sent the numbers, 2008 and 2009 to The Bean Counter, Lane, and bingo, the right answer.
So..........Alex,......What is 1 year.
Disclaimer: I apologize if this is not the correct information you were seeking. If you are at all insulted it may be possible that this was sent to you without my knowledge or control. If, however you liked it, alright, it probably came from me.

Just a little humor, unless you guessed 2 years, then it would be wrong.
I did not have the answer to the question, but just let the poster know that there are folks reading.
