Dinette Questions.

We're close to ordering a new DS 4369 but would like input on the combination desk/dinette with roll away table. Y'all that have this, do you like it? Do you lose cabinet space compared to the combination desk/buffet table? Are there any negatives with the roll away version? Does it roll in flush with the cabinet? How about longevity?
TIA

VERY good question! I'd like to hear some answer to this one myself!

We have the separate table with the buffet cabinet and love it. I haven't seen one of the roll aways except in photos.

I've seen it and meet folks at a rally that have it. They really like it as the table is how big you want it when in use. It literally uses technology like a roll top desk, as you pull it out it continues to grow to its max length. When not in use it completely stows out of the way. We liked its idea, but we chose the Desk/dinette combo as this model has no leaf and no table leg. good luck on your decision.

Dinette Questions.

We ordered the desk/dinette option, wanted the most storage space and felt the roll top looked a little industrial 1 is desk/dinette, 2 is roll top[ATTACH][ATTACH] 3rd standard [ATTACH]

We have this set up, except our table does not roll away. I find that the cabinet for the printer is too small for a standard 3 in 1 combo printer. I also find that the cabinet below the table is not useful as I have to be on my knees to access it. If my table rolled away I would love it.

I would also look at the hardware on the side of the table top for the rollaway table

Here is picture of the visible hardware on the sides, also looks like there is some variation in the top surface. Love the idea didn't like the exposed hardware[ATTACH]

I have this option & love it. I only have the table out as much as I need. I didn't have any trouble getting my printer in the rear side cabinets & I have a drop drawer front with my laptop on a slide-out shelf. This is really handy & I like the dual use of the area - desk/dinning table. I would definitely order it again.

Happy Trails

Probably not a great picture but that desk combination is great. I have a brother laser printer inside the cabinet and a scansnap scanner on the desktop. I still work so I use the office setup a lot and a multi use printer is too slow. The DW “farms” (FarmVille) with her laptop while I’m working.

It’s a pull out shelf. The laptop stays on it all the time. Very handy setup. Printer in the second shelf. They have an electrical outlet inside that cabinet. I put a power strip in there. Had to drill a hole in the bottom divider to get power over to the wife’s laptop. Didn’t like a wire on top of the cabinet go8ng to the wall outlet.
