Romeo, Glad to hear your in a safe place. I hope your repairs go smoothly and you can resume your trip to Vegas. At least now you will have a great story to tell around the campfire. If it makes you feel any better, here is how I started a trip on the first day out a couple of years back.

Sammie

Your going to make me confess... They are probably old enough to be replaced some time ago. I don't know exactly because the dates are on the inside, but do know that they are probably about 7 years old... no checks, good tread.

Maybe a look under the bed is in order; damage may have involved the trans controller,or main harness.
Right side so missed the coolers. Will check for more damage tomorrow now that it's at the shop.

Some options to call that may be able to point a direction:
RV Lifestyles, Quartzsite, AZ - parts, service and repairs, accessories, new and pre-owned RVs

Yuma maybe ~35-40 miles to your south.
Yep, called them; they close at 1:00pm in the summer... no help.

Just curious, why can't your Endeavor be towed if the drive shaft is removed?

Rick
Too much weight if lifted on one end I guess. Would have to be towed four down.

I have been "on the hook" twice. Tried to post pictures but it doesn't work anymore for some reason.

IIWMI'd have the repair company reinforce the electronics compartment w/steel plate to preclude similar damage in the future.

Well, maybe I lucked out on the tire replacement problem. I finally found a shop that had the Michelin XZA3's in stock, and would process the tires under the FMCA Advantage program. I was originally quoted a price of $700 per tire not including the installation, by the shop where we are having the work done... and they were having trouble finding 4 ofthe tires and couldn't bill Advantage. I called the Advantage program customer service and asked for a dealer near Quartzsite that could bill via Advantage. They gave me the name of a shop 20 miles east of Quartzsite named Boss Shop, and told me the FMCA price would be $556 per tire including FET (applicable tax extra). Jumped in "toad" and ran down the to verify the existence of the tires... Yep, had them and they would deliver them to the Quartzsite shop... done deal.

BTW, one of the reasons that I decided on the XZA3's when I installed them on the front wheels is that they are a fairly common truck tire and I thought they would be easier to find if and when I had a problem such as this... it worked!
