Disconnect Low Air Warning Buzzer

I need to do do some work on the coach and need to be able to hear responses to what I am doing. Obviously I can not hear when the low air buzzer is sounding so I need to disable it for a time. And yes I need the air bags dumped to do the work.

I have looked for a fuse but can't find one. Does anyone know how to shut this buzzer off so I can finish my work?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Unplug it from the switch. I'm not sure where your would be located, but you should have no problem following the air line to it's location.

Some vehicles have it on the treadle valve (brake pedal). Most newer vehicles, it's one the air tanks. I'm thinking I've seen mine under the front compartment under the windshield on my coach.

Hope that helps

You probably need to unplug the buzzer itself.

There will be 2 low air switchs, primary and secondary tanks, typicly on the tanks, with screw connections.

Black tape over the buzzer may work.

My buzzer is under the dash. I would just disconnect the wire to the buzzer. I cut the wire to my buzzer and put in a momentary off switch so I could push the button to stop the buzzer when sitting in the drivers seat, like when airing up in the morning or when I needed the ignition switch on for a time but did not have air pressure.

Our 07 Ventana has a Spartan light bar message center system. hitting either of the pushbutton arrow switches (for RIGHT and DOWN) on the right of the display turns off the audible warnings for check & STOP warnings as well as for the low air pressure.

You can dump the air suspension & turn off the ignition key & this will silence the low air buzzer. I assume you're not going to have the engine running during your repairs as this will refill the airbags & bring the coach back up to ride height.

No - but I do need the key in the AUX position and the buzzer will then sound. Thanks for trying to help.

The buzzer on my 2004 DSDP is somewhere inside the dash. I have tried several times to find the buzzer and have been unsuccessful. I also would like to have a disconnect switch on it to shut it off at times. If you find a way be sure to post the solution as I will be following this thread.

Doc Mark...... Have you found the buzzer? ..... Solved the problem?

In my 02 DS the air buzzer is in the dash behind the gauges, just under the removable hatch held by Velcro. The buzzer is a little box about the size and shape of a Zippo lighter, with two wires in it, and cleverly disguised with a stuck-on label that reads "low air warning". See below.
