Distribution box for TV's

This weekend, I pushed the button for the grandchildren to watch a DVD on the main TV. The button would not stay in - in fact none of the buttons for that TV would stay in. The other two sets of buttons for the bedroom and outside tv work fine.

Any thoughts on what needs to be done - or is it a defective box?

Switch the main TV output cable too one of the other outlets.
Until you get a new box.

the switch you most commonly use for the MAIN tv is jammed.

You can play with it till it works.. IF NONE of them stay in then you have a broken spring inside the box.

HINT: DVD often feeds a LINE IN on the TV, Check your A/V in options

HINT 2: May require you feed it via home theater system if you have one

SUGGESTION: IF you have only 2 TV's and your switch box has options for 3 TVs move coax cable on back of box from MAIN TV to TV-3 and relabel switch bank.
