Cool Do you regret selling your past Newmar for a new coach? (Newmar or other)

First - I absolutely love my VTDP. I feel like I got away with something, it's too good to be true. I'm not looking to sell it or get anything else, my signature is a funny, that's all, but also a milestone for me with my business to keep working hard for maybe a 10 year bonus prize from the purchase date of my VTDP.

I've talked with a few Newmarians out there that are on their 2nd or 3rd coach, some several Newmar's purchased. I've heard a few say they miss their XYZ, the older Newmar, lesser complexity, i.e. lower on the Newmar totem pole such as they moved up to a higher level and miss their lower end coach.

I could see that my Ventana offers simplicity which means less to go wrong. No motorized/electronic everything, no silverleaf, manual MCD's, whatever. You get the point. My fear is if I went higher on the line later I would miss this Ventana. I've had nightmares of selling my house in Richmond, I love it. I feel a bit of the same towards this coach. I had a great FPU and it so far has minimal issues, all nit'noids only because it's under the magnifying glass for the 12mo fix anything plan.

For those that bought something later, do you regret letting go of what you had? Be honest

No regrets so far! My family is in the toad as we speak on our way to Coachlight RV in Carthage, MO to pick up our 2018 DS 4310. This will be our 4th DS and our 6th coach overall. It never gets old. If you saw the kids right now you'd think we were on our way to pick up our 1st coach. We are still fine tuning and tweaking options and specials every time to make each coach more comfortable and customized to our needs. And Newmar is also making improvements and adding features every year. No regrets! [emoji1]

Went from a 2000 DSDP 3865 to a 2002 DSDP 4090, no regrets.
Traded the DSDP 4090 on the present CC in 2015. Basically a King Air. Really kind of regret it now. Have spent some $35-40,000 on repairs in 2 1/2 years.
Should have gotten the new DSDP the late DW wanted.

Just to preface, I am not a current Newmar owner. But I am so close to pulling the trigger on an LADP that I just can't stand it. Other than the HUGE price difference, I feel that I may be making a mistake by going from a nimble, park/go anywhere, low maintainance (if this is even a word in the RV world), easy to drive RV. It's only a 2009 34', but guarantee, that the New Aire doesn't have much on mine.. I digress.... My point is, like the bad guy in Dirty Harry says.. " I jus' gosta know".
I really want to try the HUGE power, storage room, comfort steer, longer chassis ride, silver leaf, 4 TV's, nova awnings, slide out generator, plush accommodations ...well you get it.... Maybe in 3 months after a few trips, I'll probably hunt down the person who buys my 34Y and make his life miserable until he sells it back to me...OR never look back... Hopefully the later, but who really knows. Only me and the wife, maybe the pooch as well....

Why don’t you throw the 34y in storage for a year or so? Cost ya less than a couple grand...
