I have the dash switch on my 2003 Dutch Star, but no lights were ever mounted. Anyone know if the wiring for them was standard, and where the might come out. I have lights, and would like to get the system working.

I assumed they were standard on the DS but from what you are saying, I guess not. Is there wiring to the switch? That may tell you if the wiring is in place or not. I would have thought if there were no lights, they would have just put a blank plug on the dash instead of a switch. Sorry, can't be of anymore help.

Yes wiring is to the switch, and from switch goes into a wire bundle/loom. From there ??? Hoped to find a terminated wire near the normal spot they're installed. But no joy in Mudville yet!

Mine has the four oblong lights. Ones up front on both sides and a set between the duals on both sides. We've used them for playing games on the patio at night.

There is a post on here somewhere we many of us changed them out to LED. There is a company that makes an LED version of that oblong light.
