Does anyone know what this is

i found this in the basement of the baystar. black metal rod about 5 feet long with a 90 degree bend ar one end and an eye hook at the other

Put the ring end in your hand and use the hook to open the small awnings over your windows.

A picture would help, but a guess would be to hook the loop on a manual awning to pull it open.

If it's about 1/4" dia. then it's used to pull awnings down.

I also use mine to reach under the coach to reposition leveling blocks under my jacks. It works better if I position them before I lower the jacks..............

Yes, a photo would help.

Did you buy the coach new? If not, it could be just about anything the previous owner left in it. Like the others, my first guess would be an awning pull rod.

thanks guys, i think i figured it out. the previous owners had a manual awning and then they had newmar install a powered awning. its the only switch in the electric bay thats black

does anyone know what this is

Yeah, my current coach has electric awnings so it didn’t come with an awning hook.

I had to go to Camping World and BUY one so I’d have it to position the leveler pads. Bummer!
