Another improvement I thought would be easy to do is to mount a tray with cup holders on the dog house between the driver and passenger seats. After taking possesion of my coach I drove to Camping World and quickly learned that there is nothing that comes out of a box that I could buy. They suggested these black plastic cup holder things that glue to the wall. Has anyone found something better than that? I've seen other coach manufacturers with these things but I don't recall seeing one in a Newmar. Would something from from an upper level Newmar work.

Carlyle Lehman of FOCAL wood products in Nappanee makes such an animal....mounts on the dog house and adapts it to two cup holders and a small tray.

That's the design that Dirk and I followed in designing the prototype drink holder that fits on the magic table.

Denis, I bought one years ago, in '99 for a Mountain Aire gas. It was made out of wood, quite heavy, so it didn't slide around. It had a cup holder at each side and other compartments for snacks, kleenex and the like. I think I found it at an RV show, in one of those after market vendor sections.

I built a 15"x15"x15" box with 2 drawers and a cup holder on top for my 97 dutch star gasser works real good it is held in place with 2 short angle irons screwed to the dog house and the box is screwed to them. when the weather breaks if you would like a pic let me know
